Our sourdough tastes its very best warm and toasted, with a beautifully crisp crust and soft centre. It also freezes wonderfully, so you can enjoy good bread whenever you fancy.
~To reheat a whole frozen loaf~
Take your loaf strait from the freezer. Lighty wet your hand with water and gently rub it over the crust. This little trick helps bring back the lovely crisp, golden finish. Place the loaf in a preheated oven or air fryer at 150-160 degrees Celsius for approximately 15 minutes, turning it upside down halway through reaheating for a more even, crispy crust. Make sure the centre is thoroughly heated before serving. Depending on your oven and the size of your loaf, it may need a little longer.
~Tp enjoy by the slice~
Slice your loaf before freezing, then simply pop a slice or two strait into the toaster whenever you fancy some. Toast until warm and golden ( defrost using the toaster's defrost setting firt, then toast until warm and crispy).
My little tip is to place small pieces of parchment paper between the slices so they don't stick together.
Your bread is baked fresh on the day of collection, so it might still be warm when you pick it up. As tempting as it is to slice into a warm loaf, please allow it to cool completely before cutting. It's worth the wait, I promise!
